Gwendolin
Gwendolin is a majestic character and one of the best heroes on Bloon TD 6. Her strength lies in her versatility, where her fire-based ability is effective against both grouped and single Bloons. I love Gwendolin because her continuous fire attacks can provide a steady and reliable source of damage, ensuring that bloons are being popped consistently.
This makes it incredibly easy to conquer each level or map faster than ever. Furthermore, this character overall is relatively affordable compared to some other heroes, making her a cost-effective choice that will not empty your pocket, either.
Also, when it comes to upgrading and leveling up, her ability to grow in power makes the character a lot more useful in the later stages.
Ezili
The next character we have is Ezili. She is a mystical hero with a focus on single-target damage and control. She stands out for her ability to target and weaken strong, high-health bloons and MOAB-class bloons.
The reason you may love Ezili is because she has multiple abilities that are fatal to the Bloons. Here are the three that make her one of my favorite characters.
➡️ Sacrificial Totem
This is her primary attack. If you are dealing with high-health Bloons, this is the one you need. She targets the strongest Bloon on the screen, typically the one with the highest health, and places a totem on it. This totem will constantly damage the particular Bloon and slowly destroy it. As Ezili levels up, the damage from Sacrificial Totem increases, making it even more potent.
➡️ Heartstopper
While dealing with powerful MOAB class bloons, the heartstopper ability comes to the rescue. When used, this power targets and damages a single MOAB-class Bloon, making it slower and easier to deal with. It is particularly effective during rounds with multiple MOAB-class bloons or boss challenges, giving you enough time to work on your defense.
➡️ MOAB Hex
The best and most highly effective ability of Ezili. It transforms a MOAB-class bloon into a harmless red Bloon for a short duration. This is perfect to be used when in boss rounds and challenging late-game levels where you will get enough time to manage your defense and later come to the MOAB class bloons.
Although Ezili has multiple abilities, it may not be the ideal choice always. Gamers tend to use it for single-target damage and MOAB control.
Obyn Greenfoot
Obyn Greenfoot is another unique hero who does pretty much everything you would need. From attacking to playing the role of a support hero with his ability to enhance the power of nearby towers.
Starting from Level 1, this hero can command the power of nature and pop the balloons using his Spirit Wolf Attack. This is only the basic power and nothing special, as you would find in other hero monkeys. Now, when you upgrade him to Level 2, Obyn Greenfoot supports the magic monkeys and gives them an extra +1 pierce.
Next up, the Level 3 upgrade brings in Brambles, which is extremely helpful when you are using this hero early on. You can place the brambles on the way to pop up 50 Bloons. Then, as we level up, we have the Magic Totem that can slow down the Bloons.
On Level 10, you can use the Wall of Trees that stops around 6000 layers of the Bloons, and when full, they give you money, which is the best part.
Furthermore, the more upgrades you bring, the better will be its popping power, attack power, totem, and everything else. His major benefit is that he supports other monkeys and makes them more powerful when used together.
Quincy
Quincy is one of the cheapest heroes in the game yet highly effective for early and mid-game balloon-popping. His main attack power is the Rapid Shot, which allows him to fire arrows quickly and accurately at Bloon.
Moving on, after you Level him up, his regular power becomes more accurate and faster. By Level 6 you can do multiple arrows in one go. The best part of this hero is that it can pop every type of Bloons.
Eventually, by Level 10, he gets the Storm of Arrows. Well, this is exceptionally brilliant. He shoots a flurry of arrows for a limited duration, significantly increasing his attack speed and popping power. This ability is effective against Bloon waves and can help you handle tougher rounds.
While he might not have the versatility of some other heroes, his proficiency in targeting and eliminating Bloons makes him a popular choice for those looking for a solid early-game hero. The further you increase his Level, the better he gets at attacking, power, accuracy for MOAB class bloons, and more.
Striker Jones
Striker Jones is a unique hero in Bloons Tower Defense 6 (BTD 6), known for his focus on explosives and strengthening explosive-based towers. The primary attack here is the Concussive Shell, which involves firing powerful shells at Bloons.
However, the major reason you will be using this hero is to make all Bomb shooters and Mortar Monkeys shoot faster. Simply add a bunch of bomb shooters around Striker Jones and destroy all the Bloon collectively.
Moreover, once this hero reaches Level 5, all black Bloons become less resistant to explosive damage. By Level 20, this doubles in both attack and speed, making the black Bloons vulnerable to explosive damage.
Admiral Brickell
Admiral Brickell primarily serves as a support hero, specializing in enhancing water-based towers and naval warfare.
Her main attack is what we call Deck Gunner, which fires a high-powered cannonball at bloons and can target both land and air Bloons. Earlier, her powers were a bit odd-timed, but she is now much more powerful and does a great job.
Another power she has is Naval Tactics, which boosts the attack speed, range, and damage of all water-based towers within her range. This ability significantly enhances the performance of towers like submarines, buccaneers, and aircraft carriers.
When upgraded to Level 10, the Mega Mine attack lasts 3 rounds and deals massive damage to MOAB-class bloons and Bosses. It can turn the tide of battle during challenging boss rounds or MOAB-heavy waves. She is only useful for players who rely on water-based towers in their strategies and seek to bolster their capabilities.
Pat Fusty
Another Bloons TD 6 universe hero is known for his incredible strength and his role as a tanky melee hero. However, his initial attack is a bit underwhelming and does not do much to the Bloons passing by.
However, his two main attacks are Rallying Roar and Big Squeeze. He is one of the best support heroes you can ask for. With the Level 3 upgrade, you can use the Rally Roar feature, where all the nearby monkeys can pop + 1 layer for a short period.
Moving ahead to Level 10, you get the Big Squeeze ability. This feature grabs MOAB, BFB, and DDT class Bloons, and squeezes and crushes them for a good 5 seconds. While they do not destroy it completely, however with an added Nimoy and other features, you can destroy them all in one go.
By the time you reach Level 20, the Big Squeeze upgrades itself and can squeeze multiple MOAB class Bloons at once.
Adora
Adora is one of my favorites among all the heroes because of her mystical powers and her role as a hybrid hero with both magical and sacrificial abilities.
She is a powerhouse from Level 1 itself. You can use her for her abilities in the early game and late game. However, she might struggle a bit in the mid-game, all things considered. One of the major ability of Adora is her Blood Sacrifice. You can spend some money and sacrifice a targeted tower that gives Adora a large amount of XP. This eventually boosts her attack range fire speed.
The best way to use her is with certain combos, such as with Alchemist and Blevins. Next up, by Level 10, she gets the Ball of Light, where she uses a powerful ball of energy to strike down the Bloons.
Psi
Psi is another powerful hero in the Bloons TD 6 universe that uses its Psychic attack and releases a wave of power to stun the nearby Bloons. It then eventually destroys them. This works perfectly for singular Bloons but faces issues with Purple, Ceramic, and even Lead Bloons.
Another advantage of this hero is that it can attack from any range whatsoever. The Level 3 Psychic Blast ability further stuns up to 200 nearby Bloons and can even attack MOAB class Bloons. As you move to further levels, the vibrations can target and affect Ceramics and Lead Bloons, too.
One of the significant features of Psi is the Psionic Scream, which you will be able to access from Level 10. Here, the ability causes you to scream, throwing the Bloons into chaos. It can affect up to 2,000 Bloons, sending them backward or instantly destroying them. Moving further Levels, Psi becomes more and more powerful and faster. You can now destroy Purple Bloons as well as target BFBs as well.
Captain Churchill
Captain Churchill is known for his military background and his proficiency in handling a variety of Bloon threats. His main attack is Heavy Ballistics, which fires powerful rounds from his artillery cannon, targeting both land and air Bloons.
After upgrading to Level 3, Churchill can shoot armor-piercing shells that can blast off black Bloons and do damage to Ceramic Bloons as well. He is known to be the best for his attack and does not support anyone like other support heroes. On Level 6, Churchill gets his Binoculars that allow him to pop Camo Bloons.
Another incredible attack power by Level 10 is the MOAB Barrage. When activated, he targets and unleashes a devastating salvo against MOAB-class bloons, dealing massive damage to them.
Sauda
Sauda is known to be one of the most powerful and highest damage-causing heroes in this game. There is no doubt in saying that it is indeed my favorite of all. She initially carries swords and smashes or pops the nearby Bloons.
With Level 3, she acquires the Leaping Sword Attack that targets multiple Bloons and leaves behind an afterword for Bloons passing by. This can damage up to 100 MOAB class Bloons that pass by, creating a huge impact in the game.
Moving ahead with the Level 7 upgrade, Sauda can now pop frozen Bloons and does extra damage when they are stunned. The best ability comes with Level 10, i.e., the Sword Charge, where she can slide along the whole track to cause more damage and pop more Bloons.
With Level 19, you get the Enchanted Sword, which is my personal favorite since it almost pops and damages all the Bloons in its way. It is perfect for early games, mid-game, and at the end of the game as well.
Etienne
We have another support hero who may not have his own popping power but uses his deadly drone to shoot at the Bloons. Till you reach Level 3, you now have 4 temporary drones that you can target to shoot at the Bloons for a few seconds.
Now, upgrading Etienne further, you now have two drones permanently with you, shooting all kinds of Bloons. Speaking of support hero, the major ability of Etienne is supporting other monkeys in the game. Once you reach Level 10, all Monkeys gain Camo Bloon detection.
Why settle for small drones when you can summon UCAV, which is a high-altitude surveillance drone that shoots multiple high-damage missiles and is capable of shooting all types of Bloons? By Level 19, Etienne has four drones that he can control for maximum damage. Lastly, when he is fully upgraded to Level 20, Etienne now has a permanent UCAV along with four drones with the time to pop all Bloon types.
Geraldo
Geraldo is the best support hero of all time. He is a shopkeeper who keeps all kinds of items, such as weapons, boosts, capes, and multiple mystic items, to support other heroes and enhance their capabilities.
Initially, you will find the Shooty Turret, Stack of Old Nails, Creepy Idol, and Jar of Pickles in his store that you can use to start up the attack. Once you start upgrading it or when it upgrades itself to different levels, more and more items keep adding up that you can use to cause damage or pop Bloons.
Some of the brilliant items you will find are Tube of Amaz-o-Glue to slow down Bloons, Invisibility Potion to grant short-term camo detection, Sharpening Stone, Pet Rabbit, Genie Bottle, and much more.
Benjamin
Benjamin, or as I love to call him Ben, is known for his expertise in financial management and support abilities that generate extra income and provide significant economic advantages. If you are low on cash and looking to add more money quickly, you need Ben for it.
Right from the beginning, Ben gives you $100 in every round you go through. By Level 3, you can unlock the BioHack ability, which grants +1 damage to the nearest 4 Monkeys for 6 seconds. But that’s not all; apart from the random upgrades and money making, with Level 10, you get downgraded newly spawned Bloons by 1 rank.
Moving further, your income increases to $800 per round, where the Bloon Trojan can now damage BFB and DDT Bloons, too.
