1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels in emails; this Policy refers to them collectively as cookies.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These technologies are required for authentication, session continuity, preferences, load balancing, payment fraud prevention, and platform security. The Services may not function correctly without them.

Functional
Functional storage remembers choices such as theme, last-used model, and workspace so the experience remains consistent between visits. Google One Tap is loaded on the landing page only after you allow functional cookies, making Google sign-in available without opening the login page first.

Analytics
For signed-out visitors, PostHog analytics and session replay run only after an explicit measurement choice allows them. Signed-in product usage is measured and associated with an opaque account identifier so journeys and failures can be understood. PostHog keeps its analytics identity and session state in session storage so the same-tab journey can continue through navigation and reloads; that browser storage clears when the tab is closed. Replay records visible page and input text, URLs, console output, client errors, and technical performance and network timing. Sparkian does not apply custom masking to captured data. Request and response payloads, headers, canvases, and cross-origin iframe content are not recorded by this integration. PostHog and browser safeguards still protect security-sensitive fields such as password inputs. Supported browser opt-out signals are respected.

Marketing and email tracking
If you allow marketing cookies, Tolt may store a referral identifier so an affiliate can be credited when a referred customer completes a purchase. Tolt receives the identifier and relevant subscription or payment events through our Stripe integration. Marketing emails may contain tracking pixels that indicate whether an email was opened or a link was selected. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email.

3. Where consent controls appear
Where the regional policy selected by our consent provider requires a banner, it appears across Sparkian’s public marketing pages and guest chat. Cookie settings remain available on those pages after you make a choice. The banner does not interrupt signed-in chat or other authenticated app pages. Signing in or accepting the Terms of Service does not itself grant cookie consent. Choices made there govern signed-out browsing; signed-in product telemetry is described in the Analytics section above.
4. Your choices
- Cookie controls. Where a consent banner is shown, you can accept all, reject all, or customize non-essential cookies. You can reopen these choices through Cookie settings in the website footer or the cookie button on public pages or the account Help menu after sign-in. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled through the banner.
- Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies through browser settings, although doing so may prevent parts of the Services from working.
- Marketing emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to stop future sends.
5. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for legal reasons. The latest version will be published here.
